- Becomes the first company to patent a combination engine brake which utilizes an exhaust valve
- Pacbrake starts serial production supply for Caterpillar and Volvo
1990-2000
- Starts engine brake development for Detroit Diesel
- Becomes the largest North American exhaust brake manufacturer
- Captures 10% of the engine brake market share
2000-2010
- Pacbrake expands their R&D and shifts strategy to emission valves
- Becomes the largest thermal management valve supplier in North America
- Expands aftermarket product line to include tow/haul solutions (air suspension and onboard air)
2010-PRESENT
- Pacbrake celebrates 50 years in business
- Supplys first hot EGR valve to Navistar
- Develops engine brake for Cummins ISB engine
- Develops electrically controlled emission valves
