California Smog Check Program

FALSE DIAGNOSIS FOR DIESEL VEHICLES WITH EXHAUST BRAKE SYSTEMS   As of January 1st, 2010 diesel powered vehicles are now incorporated into the California Smog Check Program. The program states that “Modified and Add-On Parts” require CARB exemptions through an executive order (EO). We’ve been informed one of our customer’s vehicles recently failed solely due to the addition of our exhaust brake.
